Regional Programs of the Land Trust Alliance   The Land Trust Alliance's regional programs provide an array of services to help land trusts protect land more effectively. Established at the request of the land trusts they serve, they supply hands-on technical assistance, policy coordination, networking, grant funding, and more. Services include: An annual land trust conference providing information and training Grants to land trusts for innovative conservation projects and to build their organizations A mentor program to provide direct, hands-on technical assistance A technical assistance service to answer land trusts' questions and help them solve organizational and project-related problems Listings of experts in a variety of land trust-related fields Support for legislation and public policies to enhance land conservation by keeping land trusts and their members up to date on policies, coordinating land trust action, and directly advocating policy changes.     Privacy Policy
