Duration:
All job announcements are posted for 60 days or until the deadline stated in the ad.
If you would like to remove your annoucement sooner, please include the deadline for posting in your submission text.

Deadlines:
Job announcements received by 9:00 a.m. EST on Thursday will be posted on Friday . Announcements received after 9:00 a.m. EST on Thursday will be posted the following Friday.

Submission:
Do not send attachments. Send an email to webmaster@lta.org that contains the following:

  • Contact name
  • Contact email
  • Membership type (see table above for explanation)
  • Job announcement (200 words maximum, see sample announcement below)
  • Deadline for applications
Submission Sample: ABC Land Trust (WI), Executive Director - Seeking a proven leader with team-building, organizational development, and land conservation skills. The Executive Director will manage daily operations; build local and regional conservation education programs; oversee land protection projects; fund raise; support an active volunteer board of directors and hire/supervise staff. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills; experience managing collaborative land projects; fund raising; excellent written/oral skills. Experience directing nonprofit preferred.
