Wine Country Preservation Plan Receives National Planning
Award
“For
its innovative approach to balancing preservation and development,” the
American Planning Association (APA) awarded the City of Livermore’s South
Livermore Valley Specific Plan the 2006 Outstanding
Planning Award for Implementation.The Tri-Valley
Conservancy, an LTA Member, played a key role in the partnership

California Documentary Project Will Feature Sierra Conservationists
"Saving
The Sierra: Voices of Conservation in Action" is
one of eight documentary projects being funded by the California
Council for the Humanities as part of the Council's California
Documentary Project. Through public radio broadcasts, a website
and a series of community audio workshops throughout the Sierra
Nevada, the project will shed light on how community-based conservationists
are working together for a better Sierra. Learn more
