Rally Scholarships

Matching Gift Fund

Dear Friend,

I hope you are enjoying your summer. Here at LTA, we are busy preparing for the National Land Conservation Conference: Rally 2006, being held October 12-15 in Nashville, TN. To qualify for the early registration discount, be sure to sign up before August 14. This year we will offer new seminars and workshops from the Standards and Practices Curriculum to help land trusts improve their practices and prepare for accreditation. With limited seating, the seminars are filling up fast so register early to ensure your place.

Over the past year, LTA took the lead to defend land trusts against attacks from Congress and the media. Many land trusts do not realize that dues cover less than 10 percent of the cost of LTA's services to our members. We rely on individual donors and foundations to fund the rest. An anonymous donor has recently agreed to match each contribution to LTA up to $100,000. We are closing in on the final weeks of this challenge; please consider supporting the work of LTA so we can help you protect the places you love. Make a gift today!
